Doing significant, meaningful and deep inner work, may cause your entire life to be turned upside down
Letting Go
To “let go’ does not mean to stop caring, it means I can’t do it for someone else.
To “let go” is not to cut myself off, it’s the realization that I can’t control another.
To “let go” is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.
To “let go” is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.
To “let go” is not to try to change or blame another, it’s to make the most of myself.
To “let go” is not to care for, but to care about.
To “let go” is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To “let go” is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.
To “let go” is not to deny, but to accept.
To “let go” is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to effect their own destiny.
To “let go” is not to be protective, it’s to permit another to face reality.
To “let go” is not to rag, scold or argue, but instead to be gentle with myself and learn from my humanness.
To “let go” is not to adjust everything to my desires, but to take each day as it comes, and cherish myself in it.
To “let go” is not to criticize and regulate anybody, but to try to become what I can be.
To “let go” is not to regret the past, but to grow and live in the present.
To “let go” is to fear less, and love more.
Emotional Healing Starts With the Power Of Your Own Thoughts
As you go through life you are continually meeting people whom you unknowingly give your power to. This applies to family members as well as everyone else. We are taught from birth to give our power to the family unit. This occurs every day.
“You aren’t old enough, let your brother do that.” “You can’t sit there, that place is for your sister.” What you are hearing is the energy of tribal law. In tribal law only one person can truly be the strong one. All others have to follow the ideas and thoughts of the leader. How many times have you deferred to someone else? “No, your idea is better. Mine was silly anyhow.” Those are the spoken deferrals. How about the unspoken ones? He is stronger than I am. He looks better than I do. He is dressed much better than I am. She is slimmer than I am. I am over weight and therefore less likely to know what I am talking about. I don’t have the money to buy the type of clothes that make me look better so therefore I am not worthy enough to do well.”
When you say or do those things you are giving up your power to someone else. You may not even realize you are doing it. When you meet someone you may be indicating, “I will be less than, so you can be more.” In a way, you are assisting them to be powerful. They need you and your energies to be powerful. A relationship develops in which the two of you continually trade energies, and quite often it is to your detriment.
This pattern is done very unconsciously. When you become consciously aware of this pattern you can change it. You do this by setting the intent; they are now powerful in their own power. They don’t really need you and your energies to be who they are. And you don’t need to give them any of your power, anymore. Then you set the intent that you are now absolutely powerful in your own power. You are telling the Universe you are ready to be everything you truly are.
You can assist yourself even more by doing all this in the energies of present time. Throughout life you are continually thinking about all the things that have happened to you in the past. In fact, a lot of your judgments towards things that happen now, come from remembering how you felt when something like that happened before. You are continually comparing. The job of the ego is to keep you safe, so therefore it is continually comparing to see what has hurt you. When a similar situation occurs then it tells the body to react.
By bringing all your energies into present time you are saying, “I no longer want to be controlled by those old patterns. I am ready to create a different outcome to the same experience.” This is conscious awareness!!
Random Thoughts
Can you be Conscious to Your being Un-Conscious, so you can be Conscious?
Can you be Present to your being Not – Present, so you can be Present?
When you are filled with any kind of fear there is not any room left inside for any other emotions. Fear is an emotion created by the Ego to keep you safe. Acknowledge the fear with love and gratitude and then set the intent to be complete with the energies of it. Keep looking at your in-completions with those around you and then complete them.
